Maximum Transpiration

The maximum transpiration rate (TRmax in mm day-1) is calculated from the atmospheric evaporative demand (based on the FAO-56 short grass reference evaporation) modified by a crop coefficient and the canopy cover coefficient:

where ET0 is the atmospheric evaporative demand (mm day-1, EORATIO is crop coefficient (a species parameter) ), and Kc is the canopy cover coefficient.
