The general equation for Indica and Japonica ecotypes (Liu et al., 2013) is given below:
Where:
AC (%) is the amylose content of rice kernel as percentage of grain dry weight (D.W.);
daysFl (days) are the days accumulated starting from flowering date;
ai, bi, ci (unitless) are the coefficients of the equation, specific for Japonica and Indica varieties.
