Simulation of conductivity follows the approach proposed by WEPP (Flanagan and Nearing, 1995).

The evolution in time of the saturated conductivity depends on crop management and plant characteristics, but also on the crust formation when the soil is bare. All relationships proposed by WEPP are obtained empirically, from a large dataset.
