Growth respiration

Growth respiration can now be calculated starting from daily gross assimilation rate (see topic Conversion CO2 to CH2O) and maintenance respiration rate (see topic Maintenance respiration). It is equal to the amount of assimilates available for conversion into structural material.

where Rgrowth is daily growth respiration rate (Kg ha-1, d-1), AssCH20 is daily gross CH2O assimilation rate (kg ha-1 d-1) and Rman is the real maintenance respiration rate (Kg ha-1, d-1).
